The deacons, as an extension of the pastor and staff, are
responsible for ministering to the needs of the members of Trinity
Baptist Church through such things as visitation of the sick and
shut-ins, being available during times of loss, encouragement of, and
participation in, the organizations of the church, and the assimilation
of new members into the church.

Members of Trinity Baptist Church enjoy visiting people in their
homes in order to get to know them and offer personal ministry. This is
done through various ministries, but Tuesday night is set aside as
visitation night. To prepare members to effectively visit and minister
to people, there are two semesters a year of FAITH training.
FAITH is a process in which members meet on Tuesday nights to be
trained in sharing the Good News and ministering. They then visit in
people's homes in groups of three and return to the church to
celebrate. This follows the example of Christ who trained His
disciples, sent them out, and celebrated with them on an ongoing basis.

Heart to Heart has a passion to help women deepen their
relationships with the Lord through prayer, knowing His Word, and
building relationships with one another. This year, we are encouraging
women to see God as an Ageless Romancer who pursues them for a
passionate and intimate relationship that will satisfy all the deepest
longings of their hearts. Heart to Heart includes Bible studies, interest groups, a wonderful annual retreat, a variety of activities, and prayer network.

The Helping Hands ministry reaches out in a variety of ways to
help people in the community. Whether it's someone who needs weeds
pulled, a sick mom who needs her small child cared for, or a family in
need of food from our food closet—whatever the need, we try to fill it.

Every December, the Trinity Baptist Church family produces a series
of scenes that tell the story of Christ using live characters and
animals. Guests view the scenes from the comfort of their own cars
while listening to scene narratives through their car radios. This
sharing of the Good News typically reaches approximately 2,000 people each
year.
In 2008, the Live, Drive-Through Nativity will be presented Thursday through Sunday evenings, December 18-21.

Men, join us in following Jesus on a course of Godly significance in our daily lives. We minister to men through such things as Bible studies,
breakfast meetings, golf tournaments, and retreats. Our purpose is to
help men become the man, the husband, the father, and the servant that
God desires each man to be.

We have a very active senior adult ministry at Trinity. On the
second Thursday of each month, we gather for a luncheon and a time of
Bible study. Throughout the year, we take day trips to places around
the Bay Area, such as the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Twice a year, we offer
the opportunity to attend Senior Adult Retreats at Camp Cazadero in the
coastal mountains. The seniors also provide a well established care
ministry for people within their group and beyond.
